Preheat oven to 160 C (fan forced). Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl.
Melt the golden syrup and butter in a saucepan on a low heat. Combine the baking soda and boiling water and add into the syrup/butter mix. Note: It will froth up!
Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.
Place spoonfuls of mix onto a baking try with baking paper on it. Bake for 12-15 minutes depending on how chewy or crispy you’d prefer your biscuits.
Store in an airtight container, if there are any left!
